you do not need to be a member of any society to compete in any class.

Those wishing to Qualify for Equifest 2014 please ensure you have your green qualifier cards with you to be signed in the ring

Class 1 Youngstock - 3 years and under (Equestrian Life Q)

Class 2 DRUMACRE HALL STUD / EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND IN HAND

Open to In Hand Mountain & Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare, colt, filly or gelding, any age.

This class may be divided as appropriate (Equestrian Life Q)

Class 3 Best Condition - Open to horses and ponies any breed or type (Equestrian Life Q )

Class 4 Veteran - 15years and Over Open to Horses & Ponies any breed type

(Equestrian Life Q)

Class 5 Inhand Showing - Open to Horses & Ponies any breed type. (Equestrian Life Q)

Class 6 New/Novice Showing Combination - Open to any age breed or type, Combination to be in their first show season together. (Equestrian Life Q)

Class 7 Inhand Coloured - Open to Horses & Ponies any breed type. (Equestrian Life Q)

Class 8 Purebred – Open to any full bred horse or pony (Equestrian Life Q)

May be ridden astride or side saddle.

You will NOT be penalised for wearing a strapped hat in our Concours we recommend it !!!!

Class 16 Lead Rein Ridden - Open to ponies of any type, riders 8years and under. Age as of 1 Jan in the current year. (Equestrian Life Q) including THE COLNE STUD / EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND LEAD REIN - Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies, registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest, Shetland and Welsh A or B. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 9th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be led by an attendant and shown in a Snaffle Bridle, the lead rein to be attached to the noseband only.

Class 14 First Ridden - Open to ponies of any type, riders 12 years and under. Age as of 1 Jan in the current year . (Equestrian Life Q) including THE CHOYNOWSKI / EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND FIRST RIDDEN - Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies, registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Dartmoor, Exmoor, New Forest, Shetland, and Welsh A or B. Mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 128cms. Riders not to have attained their 12th birthday before 1st January in the current year. To be shown in any suitable bridle.

Class 17 Best Condition - Open to horses and ponies any breed or type (Equestrian Life Q)

Class 18 THE HEWITT FAMILY/ EQUIFEST OPEN RIDDEN MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND

Open to Mountain & Moorland ponies registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dales, Dartmoor, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland, Welsh A, B, C and D. Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Rider any age. This class may be divided as appropriate.

Class 19 Veteran – 15 years and Over Open to Horses & Ponies any breed type (Equestrian Life Q)

Class 20 NUPAFEED / EQUIFEST RIDDEN COBS

Open Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, 4 years old & over, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms. Riders any age. (Equestrian Life Q)

Classes may be divided as follows:

· Open Lightweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms.

· Open Heavyweight Ridden Cob, mare or gelding, exceeding 148cms but not exceeding 155cms

Class 21 THE HOOD SHOW TEAM / EQUIFEST MAXI COBS

Open Maxi Cobs, mare or gelding 4 years old and over, exceeding 155cms – to be judged as Cobs. Riders any age.

Class 22 YORKSHIRE SUPPORTERS / EQUIFEST RIDDEN PART BREDS

Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Exhibits in this section must be registered in the Part Bred section of their respective Breed Society. Registration numbers must be stated on the entry form. Horses and ponies will not be ridden at the final. Riders any age.Classes may be divided as appropriate.

Class 23 New/Novice Showing - Combination Open to any age breed or type, Combination to be in their first show season together.

Class 24 Ridden Coloured Traditional – ( ie Feather, Full Mane & Tail etc ) Open to Horses and Ponies

Class 28 Sports Horse Thoroughbred – Open to horses bred to race trained, trained raced or retired race horse

Class 29 Style & Performance – Any height  - Open to horses & ponies

Class 32 - Nursery Stakes not exceedng 133cms - Rider aged 12 years and under 1`3 Max will include THE BOYCOTT TONIC / EQUIFEST WORKING HUNTER PONIES - Working Hunter Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, not exceeding 133cms. Riders must be the correct age for the animal they ride. (Equestrian Life Q)

Class 33 - Novice Not Exceeding 14.2hh – Any Age Rider to be suitable size for pony 2`0 Max (Equestrian Life Q)

Class 34 - Open Not Exceeding 14.2hh – Any Age Rider to be suitable size for pony 2`3 Max will include THE BOYCOTT TONIC / EQUIFEST WORKING HUNTER PONIES - Working Hunter Pony, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over. Riders must be the correct age for the animal they ride. (Equestrian Life Q)

Class 35 - M&M Working Hunter Pony Small Breeds - Exmoor, Dartmoor, Shetland, Welsh A or B 2`3 Max (Equestrian Life Q)

Class 36 - M&M Working Hunter Pony Large Breeds - Highland, New Forest, Connemara, Dales, Fell, Welsh C or D 2`6 (Equestrian Life Q)

 

Class 35 & 36 will include HORSLYX / EQUIFEST MOUNTAIN & MOORLAND WORKING HUNTER PONIES - Mountain and Moorland Working Hunter pony, registered with their respective Pure Bred Societies of Connemara, Dartmoor, Dales, Exmoor, Fell, Highland, New Forest, Shetland or Welsh A, B, C or D. Class 37 – Working Cob Stallion, Mare or Gelding, 4 years and over. No Height restrictions maybe Traditional or Non Traditional 2ft6' max

Class 38 - Novice Working Exceeding 14.2hh 2`9 Max (Equestrian Life Q)

Class 39 - Open Working Hunter Exceeding 14.2hh 3`0 Max to include THE BOYCOTT TONIC / OPEN WORKING HUNTER - Stallion, mare or gelding, 4 years old and over, exceeding 148cms. Riders of stallions to have attained their 14th birthday before 1st January in the current year. (Equestrian Life Q)

The organisers & landowners hold no responsibility for any Motor Transport, Animals, Tack or persons attending this event

Current Standard Hard Hats to be worn with chin straps fastened
